1.PODCASTS
Using Podcasts are a cool new way for kids to hear lectures by other teachers that could offer more on the subject than some teachers do. There are a wide variety of topics and anyone can find a topic that they are interested in.
2. Working Together
Doing group work and lab activities together can be a great way for students to learn from each other. Sometimes students learn more from kids their own ages because they relate better to them. Doing group work gives time for kids that understand the subject better to relate it to the kids who could be struggling, better than what you could.
3.Blogging
Blogging is a great way for students to to connect with the world outside the classroom. Students can meet students from other countries and see what they are doing compared to what they are. It is also a great way for students to post their work on the internet and be able to get feedback from other students and other teachers.
4. Reading the Textbook
Even though today's classroom is moving toward the future some things are still great methods that should be kept. reading the text book is a great way for students to get familiarized with the curriculum before coming to class! That way they already know what they are having trouble with and could voice that when they come to class.
5.Homework
I know it's the oldest work in the book, but homework actually does help you! As my coaches always told me, repetition helps you retain the material! Practice, Practice, Practice! I will definitely keep this time old tradition in my classroom.
